My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.

But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.

Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

Received from publisher in exchange for an honest review

 2.5 - 3 stars?

The only reason why I finished this book is because I was flipping it 360° so I could read the text and that was freaking amazing.

This is a unique way to form and style and write a book and I enjoyed it more than the story itself. The writing was clear but maybe I had wanted something a bit more complex.

The story didn't really have a lot of room to grow. It is a very short book so the development was, as expected, well, not impressive.

If you put yourself in Maddie's shoes you would understand(?) the choices she made but you can see the end from the first five chapters. The premise was very good though.

The style I really liked, but this book, in my opinion is too hyped up, although I don't think I went with very high expectations.

I thumbs this up for a debut novel though!

Overall feelings:
